The Quality Assurance Team at SHFF ensures that the company releases games and
applications that are fun to use, adhere to specifications, and are of the highest
possible quality. QA duties include testing SHFF products, developing test plans,
identifying and documenting defects, and verifying defect resolutions. Permanent
and temporary positions on the team are currently available. These positons are a
great way to get a foot in the door of the video game industry and see how the
business works from the inside.
Requirements
- A passion for video games and interactive software
- Rigorous attention to detail
- Able to work well in a team environment. Able to interact effectively with a
variety of other team members, including software engineers, artists, and
executives
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- The ability to analyze and interpret technical documents
- A working knowledge of the Windows environment
- An intermediate proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- Located in or around Austin, Texas. Relocation will not be provided for QA
positions.
Additional Considerations
- Experience with professional bug tracking software, such as Bugzilla or Jira
- Experience in quality assurance in the video game industry
- Professional experience with mobile devices
